Heart to Heart Women’s Day

The 13^th annual Heart to Heart Christian Women’s Day will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Verde Baptist Church from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Our purpose is to unite the hearts of women of the Verde Valley and Sedona by providing an annual day of worship, fellowship and sharing our Lord’s Gospel message.

Our guest speaker this year is Joan C. Webb, author of The Relief of Imperfection and co-author of The Intentional Woman. Joan will start us on an intentional relief-producing journey of inner transformation and hope.  Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful! Sometimes we try too hard to make our families, bodies, homes, dreams, friendships, work, and even faith “just right”—and it’s so frustrating when they aren’t.  We feel STUCK.  Come rediscover yourself and how God longs to free you from your unrealistic expectations. For more information about Joan visit www.joancwebb.com or http://www.intentionalwoman.org

We will conclude the day with a luncheon banquet catered by various popular restaurants throughout the area with a wonderful door prize drawing.

During Living Proof Live, you will have the opportunity to worship with Travis Cottrell and his praise team, as you stand alongside hundreds of women in your community.

Every Living Proof Live has its own specific message, one that Beth feels God has laid on her heart for each city she visits. Her passion for Christ, coupled with her ability to teach God’s word, make her an excellent vessel for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

Verde Valley Women’s Connection would like to encourage you to use the one-day event as a day retreat or a fall Bible study kick-off for the ladies in your church.

Tickets are $20.00 a piece and may be purchased on line with a credit card ($2.00 processing fee) or by sending cash, check, or money order to Verde Baptist. Tickets will be mailed to you, any order placed after September 1st will be held at will call and can be picked up the morning of the event. Ticket purchase will also be available the day of the event for $30.00. Doors will open at 8:30 and seating is on a first come basis. Take advantage of the time with Beth and the opportunity to bond with your sisters in your church and the community we live in.
