This morning’s prayer has been said to be “a remarkable prayer of thought and beauty never to be surpassed” (H. Lockyer), and “one of the most moving statements of faith and trust found in the Bible” (D. Baker). Most remarkably, this prayer is found in the middle of great uncertainty and confusion. Let’s try to do the same thing. Regardless of the level of uncertainty and confusion in our lives, let’s also make a bold statement of trust.
