The book of Jonah has caused a lot of academic debate in the last century. Jonah has been thought to be a parable or an allegory, or (like us) a historical narrative. Truthfully, we could set that all aside, and just identify with his infamous prayer. I do not know how far away you may be (or feel to be) from God, but after our look at Jonah’s prayer you can thankfully…Come on Home.
