This morning Paul’s letter has become so dramatically practical, that some consider the book in thirds (1‐3: Doctrine; 4‐6:9: Application; and 6:10‐24: Warfare) rather than in halves (1‐3: Doctrine; 3‐6: Application). Today’s text is very intense and calls for some quick action. While we try to gently live our Christian life, we need today’s dose of reality…we are in battle. Victory is guaranteed, so long as we follow Paul’s instructions and Dress for Success.
